Also offered are classic fiberglass ruddered single kayaks from Eddyline not in production. Choose from the Raven, Calypso, Seastar, and Wind Dancer.
Our fleet of doubles consists of ruddered Whispers and Grand San Juans that offer stability, speed, ample storage, and comfort. Whispers are available in Carbonlite and fiberglass with or without center hatches. Choose the model that suits your trip best. The Grand San Juan is the largest with a center cockpit large enough to fit a third person. (no seat)
Island Outfitters offers the highest quality gear to compliment the kayak. Paddles by Swift, PFD’s by MTI, Sprayskirts by SnapDragon, Wetsuits by Warmers, Nylon Drysuits by Kokatat. Our gear is inspected regularly and cleaned after each use. We dry our equipment overnight in a specially designed room to assure dryness and comfort when you pick up your gear.

Rental Policy
• All who rent a single sea kayak from Island Outfitters must have successfully completed a beginning Sea Kayaking class from us or another company that has taught self rescues. Please be prepared to show your completion card or answer questions from our staff to qualify.
• Double sea kayaks must have one paddler on board who meets the above requirements.
• Payment is due in full at time of reservation. You will be able to cancel your reservation 7 days prior to pick up for a full refund. If you cancel your reservation with in 7 days of pick up a 20% administration fee applies before refund is disbursed.
• A Liability Release and Rental Agreement must be signed by all who use equipment from Island Outfitters. All renters must be over 18 years of age. Only Parents or Legal Guardians of minors may sign for minor.
• Allow at least 1 hour to pick up rental equipment for take-away rentals. Allow extra time for groups, or if catching a ferry.
• You are responsible for transporting the kayaks(s) in a safe manner utilizing a rack system. Racks can be solid or of foam. Straps and rope tie downs to secure kayak(s) must be supplied by you. Island Outfitters has foam racks available for rental for a one time charge of $10.00. Island Outfitters has the right to refuse rental if an appropriate method is not used to transport kayak(s).
