Our sea kayak rental fleet consists of shorter stable kayaks to long narrow high performance (rudder-free design) kayaks in singles, doubles and triples that offer stability, speed, ample storage and comfort.

We also have high-quality recreational style kayaks available for yacht charters or "mother-ship" style vacations -
these rentals have a different qualification & pricing so please call us and let us know that it will be used from a chartered vessel.
We offer the highest quality gear to compliment the kayak. Paddles by Swift & Werner, PFD’s by Stohlquist & Kokatat, Sprayskirts by SnapDragon, Wetsuits by Warmers, Drysuits by Kokatat & Stohlquist. Our gear is inspected regularly and cleaned after each use. We dry our equipment overnight in a specially designed room to assure dryness and comfort when you pick up your gear.

Rental Policy
• To rent a kayak you must have successfully completed a sea kayak safety class from us or another company that has taught self/assisted deep water rescues by a currently certified ACA or BCU Instructor/Coach. Please be prepared to show your completion card with signature and number of the certified ACA or BCU Instructor and answer questions from our staff to qualify.
• To insure that we are renting kayaks to the most qualified and safe paddler we may require that renters have participated in a "refresher" course within the last 9-12 months. The intent is to insure that you have recently practiced the wet-exit/rescues skills in the type of kayak you plan to rent. We have scheduled the following dates for a refresher for more information [click here...].
• Double sea kayaks must have one paddler on board who meets the above requirements.
• Payment is due in full at time of reservation with a $35.00 non-refundable booking fee for each kayak. You will be able to cancel your reservation 7 days prior to pick up for a partial refund. If you cancel your reservation with in 7 days of pick up a 25% fee will be applied to each kayak before refund is disbursed.
• A Liability Release and Rental Agreement must be signed by everyone that uses equipment, no exceptions. All renters must be over 18 years of age. Only Parents/Legal Guardians of minors may sign for minor, minors will also be asked to read and sign.
• Allow at least 1 hour to pick up rental equipment for take-away rentals. Allow extra time for groups, or if catching a ferry. If we feel like we are being rushed because you are going to miss a ferry, you run the risk of us denying the rental altogether.
• Renter is responsible for transporting the kayaks(s) in a safe manner utilizing a rack system. Racks can be solid or of foam. We have a limited supply of foam racks available for rental for a one time charge of $5.00. We have the right to refuse rental if a safe or appropriate method is not used to transport kayak(s).
• Renter is responsible for replacement/repair cost of any loss or damaged equipment for any reason.
